Both Jan and Sandy have done a lot of obedience work with their dogs in the
past. While agility seems to have taken over their time right now, that
doesn't mean they feel obedience is any less important.
They have put obedience titles on several of their dogs. And one of
their biggest thrills has been watching the dogs they have bred excelling in
performance. Below are several of those dogs and their titles.

Katy earns Rally
Novice title! On May 7, 2005 at the Mound City Obedience
Training Club Trial Katy qualified in the new AKC sport of Rally Novice
Obedience for her 3rd Leg and New Rally Novice (RN) title. Katy also
qualified for an insurance leg on May 8th.

Katy has earned her CD, with
the 3rd qualifying leg earned at the Egyptian Kennel Club show on September 4,
2004 under judge Doris Froman with a score of 190. She earned her first leg at
the Greater St. Louis Training Club Trial on May 1st, 2004. She also
earned the award for High Scoring Cocker at that show. Yeah, Katy!
On June 19th Katy earned her second leg at the North County Obedience Club's
Trial with a score of 188.
Paige, CD Paige earned 2nd
and 3rd place ribbons
in Veterans Class at ASC in July! Way to go, Paige. Now she really
will retire at 9 1/2 years old.
Walker, UD
Front and
Finish has posted the rankings of obedience dogs by score for 2002 and in Open
Walker ranked as the Number ONE Cocker Spaniel and Number 8 Sporting Dog!! And
in Utility Walker was the Number 8 ALL BREED, Number 3 Sporting Dog, and the
NUMBER ONE Cocker Spaniel. These ratings are based on a very limited showing.
Way to Go, Marty and Walker!! As of June 2004, Walker had earned
several legs toward his UDX. We hope you will cheer for them if you see
them at a show!
