American & International Champion
S'Posan's Intoxikator, CD, RN, OA, OAJ, NAP, AJP, CGC

Katy was whelped in March, 1998 and is the result of years of breeding toward Sandy's goal of a perfect buff cocker.  Sandy wanted a buff girl who could "do-it-all" and would have the brains and temperament for performance as well as the beauty to compete in conformation.  Katy finished her Championships owner handled all the way by Sandy and Jan. Sandy started Katy in obedience training and then discovered agility.  Katy was Sandy's first dog to earn an agility title, and she lives with Sandy.

Katy is OFA Good, and CERF'd annually.  Her most recent CERF was February 2006.  Katy was 9 years old on March 12, 2007.  Her pedigree is below.  (Scroll to the bottom of the page.)

In 2004 Katy earned her CD, ranking as the #2 Cocker Spaniel on the First and Foremost Rating System for 2004 according to the March 2005 Front and Finish.  In 2005 Katy earned her RN in Rally Obedience.

But Katy REALLY loves agility and started back in competition at the Preferred level in July 2006, earning her Novice Preferred JWW in three straight shows, and the first 2 Q's for her Open Preferred JWW in two straight shows.  Too bad she has Sandy for a handler because Sandy told her to take the wrong jump and Katy had to wait until November for a chance to earn her Open Preferred JWW, which she did on Nov. 24th, 2006.  Katy went on to earn her first Excellent A Preferred Q on her next try.  In February 2007 Katy goes on to earn two more Q's in Novice Standard for her Novice Standard Preferred title, as well as another Excellent A JWW Preferred Q.  And in March 2007 Katy grabbed that 3rd leg in Excellent A Preferred JWW for her AJP TITLE!

Katy is also trying to prove she can be a Versatility Dog and began tracking classes in 2006.  If she can get Sandy to get up and out into sub-zero weather they will continue to train and hope for a chance to earn another title sooner or later.

In January 2005 Katy earns her first and second legs in Rally Novice Obedience.  And on May 7th she earns her 3rd Leg and Rally Novice (RN) title.  She also qualified on May 8th for an insurance leg.  (Photo by NextAge Photography - copyright www.nextagephoto.com )

Katy and Sandy with our judge, Mrs. Doris Froman.  At the BelleCity show in September 2004 Katy turned in a great performance with a score of 190 for her 3rd Leg and earned the Companion Dog title.
