American International Champion Frontier's Sitton On A Gold Mine, CGC
Hunter was bred by Jo Sitton. Jo and Sandy felt it was time for Jan to get back into showing after a long divorce. Hunter was the bait and Jan fell for him hook, line and sinker! When you meet Jan, ask her about some of the great times she and Sandy had when showing Hunter. But all good things come to an end. Shortly after Hunter had finished his Championships he slipped on an icy step, fell through and broke his back. Sandy and Jan raced through an ice storm to the University of Columbia for surgery that was never destined to be successful. Hunter never regained the use of his back legs and nearly nine months later succumbed to chronic streptococus infections he got as a result of the surgery. Hunter was the love of Jan's life and will be remembered always for the wonderful potential he embodied. Sandy and Jan are grateful for his daughter, S'Posan's Carrie Mae Home. |
