     Sandy Roland     Janet Sauer

Sandy always had dogs in her home when she was growing up, and very naturally, continued to have dogs when she had her own family.  She received her first cocker spaniel in 1974 as a Valentines gift from her late husband.  She attended some obedience training classes and was hooked.  Sandy loves the performance side of cockers most because of the strong bond training and competing creates with the dogs.  Sandy also enjoys the creativity of planning breedings, matching pedigrees, and does all of the paperwork for S'Posan's Cockers.

Jan's first show dog was a Weimaraner, and she also began in obedience.  Her original kennel name was Redwym.  Jan loves the conformation side of cockers, the grooming and socializing of the dogs.  Sandy had to drag Jan into Agility, kicking and screaming all the way, but now you are more likely to find that Jan is out training with the dogs!

Jan and Sandy met back in the late 70's during the first parvo scare.  They met in a commuter parking lot so Jan could give "Rocky" to Sandy to use for a breeding.  Jan sprayed Rocky with bleach water before handing him over to Sandy.  They became instant friends and have traveled together for many years since then.
