Sarah is a Gracie daughter and every bit the little girl Sandy had planned on for all these years.  At 7 weeks old the litter was given the Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test and Sarah was crowned most willing worker and from that minute forward she was Sandy's dog.  It is Sandy's dream that Sarah earns titles in all venues, including conformation, obedience, rally and agility.  Sandy and Sarah will have a lot of fun as they work toward these many goals.  Sarah is also Sandy's first Therapy Dog.

Shown above is Sarah winning a 3 point major in conformation at the St. Charles Kennel Club show on Saturday, January 26, 2013.  Sarah also wins an additional 3 point major at the same show on Sunday, January 27, 2013.  Sarah was beautifully handled by MaDonna Griswold, shown above with Saturday's judge, Mrs. Terry Depietro.

On March 2, 2013 at the BelleCity Kennel Club show held at Purina's Event Center, Sarah was Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex for the last 2 points needed to earn her AKC Championship.  Again, Sarah was beautifully handled by MaDonna Griswold who holds a record of having never been defeated at any show with Sarah.  How fitting that this was exactly one year from the same show where she earned her first Championship point.

The following week-end Sarah earned her Novice Agility Titles in Standard (NA) and Jumpers With Weaves (NAJ), and wrapped up the week-end by earning her first Open JWW qualifying score with a 100 and 2nd place.  Sarah also took 2nd place with both of her Novice wins.

Since then Sarah has been burning up the courses in Agility.  In September 2013 at the Ibizan Hound Agility Trial held at the Purina Event Center, Sarah earned her 3rd Q in Open Standard for her OA title, and a 4th Q to secure her Excellent JWW (AXJ) title.  And at the English Springer Spaniel Trial Sarah earned her first Master Q with a nice run gaining her a 4th Place in a large class.

Sarah also tried her paw at UKC (United Kennel Club) Agility and qualified all four runs with 1st Place every time to earn her UAGI Title.

Sarah has gone on to earn 2 qualifying scores in Open JWW and 1 qualifying score in Open Standard.  Hopefully she can earn the Open titles in the summer of 2013.

Below are several new photo's taken of Sarah during recent Agility Trials

Shown below Sarah earns her United Kennel Club (UKC) Championship in October 2012.  The UKC Championship requires 100 points earned at 3 or more shows with competition of one or more dogs of the same sex.

Shown below earning her first AKC Championship points in March 2012.  An AKC Championship requires 15 points earned by competing against other dogs of the same sex and variety, and must include at least two major wins of 3 or more points at one time.  Points are determined by the number of dogs in competition at that show.

Sarah started her conformation career in March 2012.  Sarah earned her first two points in conformation at the BelleCity Kennel Club shows on March 3rd and 4th, 2012.  (Photo by Downey)  Thanks to judges Charles Olvis [shown above at top of page] and Karen Wilson.  Sarah picks up another 2 points as Winners Bitch at the Rolla Kennel Club show on June 16, while going Reserve Winners Bitch on June 17, 2012.  Thanks to judge Mr. Stephen Hurt.

Sarah earned her Rally Novice (RN) title at ASC National Show in July 2012, with scores in the high 90's and a third place win.  Below is a picture of Sarah as she sat next to Sandy during competition.

Sarah also made her debut in the Agility ring at the ASC National show in July 2012, where she was rather distracted by all the ring crew and while she had fun, she only earned one Qualifying score in Novice Standard.  Below are some pictures taken during her runs:

June 2012 Sarah passed the test and met the requirements and is now an official Therapy Dog with TDI.  Shown below is Sarah with her TDI Bandana and badge.  She visits Delmar Gardens Nursing Home every week and loves all the people she meets.

Sarah passed her Canine Good Citizenship Test on February 27, 2012 and earned the title of CGC.

Sarah started her training at Jefferson County Kennel Club where she earned her AKC STAR Puppy Award.

She attended a Rally class at JCKC which equipped her to earn her Novice Rally title.  She also attends Agility Training classes at DSK in Caseyville where Sarah can't decide if agility or the other puppies are the most fun.
