Emmy is Sandy's rising star. Emmy
had a difficult start in life when her sire was diagnosed with juvenile
cataracts and before her first birthday Emmy broke with a mature "sudden
onset" juvenile
cataract in her left eye. Emmy was spayed in June 2008 and had
surgery in her eye in November 2008.
In February 2010, Emmy's
right eye broke with a mature "sudden
onset" juvenile cataract. After completing her Excellent JWW Agility
title in April 2010, surgery was performed in May.
Watch for a fully recovered Emmy in
October's Trials.

Emmy loves Agility! She began
training
as a young pup and kept
on training right through and
around
all her surgeries.
By 2009 Emmy was ready to compete and
quickly earned her titles in Standard (OAP) and Jumpers with Weaves (AJP.)
It's so much fun to have a dog that loves weaves and Emmy does!
Watch for us when her right eye heals. |

| In May 2009 Emmy took her first trip
into the obedience ring quickly earning her Rally Novice title.
While her scores were good she was always 1 or 2 points behind her Aunt
Gracie and only had a couple placements. |

Emmy's eye problems
meant that she could not compete for a championship. This photo,
taken with the help of Jaime Bast, shows Emmy in full show coat.
She could easily have finished if given the chance. In Sandy's
heart, Emmy IS a Champion. |

with and is trained and handled by Sandy.
